PRECISION MILLING AND TURNING
On the floor at the Knight Carbide machine shop, you will find our Ewag Ewamatic, a versatile, small-tool grinder for threading inserts, grooving inserts and form tools. The Ewag is capable of performing multiple functions in producing carbide inserts with features such as multiple clearance angles, radii, top rakes and T lands in a single clamping.
Also on deck is our Wendt Alpha, a periphery grinder with powerful CNC control, flexible programming language, automatic loading and measuring for producing complex milling inserts to precise specifications. With these and other state-of-the-art equipment and the exemplary staff to run them, Knight Carbide produces tools with the precise geometries and features required by our aerospace and defense clients.
